Mysuru Cab Connect operates an online marketplace that connects customers seeking cab services with independent cab operators. We are not the transport provider.
2. Information we collect
When you request quotations, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, mobile number, pickup, destination, travel date and time, trip type, passenger count and vehicle preference. We also keep the request reference, consent record, status, quotations and basic technical or security information needed to operate the service.
Operators may provide their contact details, business profile, service areas, fleet information and verification information. Signed-in users may also provide account information made available by the authentication service.
3. How we use information
- Create, verify and manage trip requests.
- Match requests with suitable verified operators.
- Display and deliver quotations through the platform.
- Operate customer tracking, operator and administrator functions.
- Prevent misuse, investigate problems and maintain service records.
- Respond to support requests and improve the marketplace.
4. How information is shared
After review, a customer request may be shared with no more than three suitable verified operators. Assigned operators may receive the trip details and customer contact information needed to prepare or fulfil a quotation. Customers can view the operator information and quotation details shown on their private tracking page.
We may also use service providers that host, secure or operate the platform. We do not sell customer personal information.
5. Your private tracking link
The tracking link acts like a private access key. Anyone who receives it may be able to view the request and quotations, so keep it confidential and contact us if you believe it has been exposed.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, keep business and audit records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable obligations. We use practical administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may choose not to submit a request. You can contact us to ask about correction or deletion of your information, subject to records we must reasonably retain. Withdrawing a request does not reverse sharing that already occurred with assigned operators.
8. Children
The marketplace is intended for adults arranging transport. Do not submit personal information for use of the platform if you are not legally able to enter into the relevant arrangement.
9. Updates
We may update this policy as the marketplace changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
